Meadow Home School Association

  • The MHSA strives to develop supportive efforts between the teaching staff and parents/guardians to secure maximum competency levels in physical, mental, and social education for all students.
  • The MHSA hopes to develop improved means of communication with parents and teachers to bring a closer relationship between home and school, that parents may cooperate intelligently in the child's training.
  • The activities sponsored by the MHSA do much to further the goal of providing students with a well-rounded experience.  Many valuable field trips, assemblies, educational programs, and social activities are funded and organized by the MHSA each year.
  • MHSA Funded / Sponsored Activities include:  school pictures, yearbook, roller skating parties, seasonal dances, Holiday Secret Shoppe, school apparel and t-shirts, field trips, student banking, and fundraisers.
  • Meetings are held monthly at 6:30 p.m. in the Meadow Conference Room

Community Involvement

  • Shared Decision Making-- This team includes teachers, parents, support staff, the principal and a community representative.  It has responsibility for the development of the school's plan for academic improvement and character development.
  • Partners in Education Program with HSBC Bank
  • School Spirit Team--This team includes teachers, support staff and the principal.  This group plans monthly special events to enhance the curriculum.
  • Student Support Team--This multi-disciplinary team meets once per cycle to develop alternative strategies and programs for at-risk students.
  • Holiday Food Drive
  • Pennies for Leukemia
